All About The Characters And Powers Of Demon Slayer

Demon Slayer is a popular manga series written and drawn by Hirohito Araki. The manga follows the adventures of a young boy named Ryūichi Sakamoto as he tries to stop the evil demons from taking over Japan. The characters in Demon Slayer are colorful and fun to read about. Ryūichi is a likable protagonist who is always trying to do the right thing, even if it means going against his friends and family. He has a strong sense of justice, and he never backs down from a fight. The demons in Demon Slayer are also colorful and fun to read about. They are often bad guys who want to harm people or take over the world, but they always have an end goal in mind. They are very powerful, and they can easily defeat anyone who tries to stand in their way. The artwork in Demon Slayer is also very colorful and fun to look at. The characters are all drawn very realistically, which makes them easy to identify and enjoy reading about. The author has done an excellent job with this manga, making it one of my favorite series on the market today!

Even if you include the manga, Demon Slayer is much shorter than regular shonen. So don’t expect to see hordes or side characters like in Naruto.

Who are Main Characters in Demon Slayer ?

Hashibira Inosuke

Another character that has a very first introduction. I was angry to see him kick the Zenitsu who had protected Nezuko. Inosuke changed my perception of him and I now adore him.

Inosuke’s character development is my favorite right now. He started out as a dish*t and has since become a decent human being with a little bit of lunacy. We might be able to see him as a “normal Inosuke,” even though it may bore us, because this Inosuke is incredible.

Zenitsu Agatsuma

Zenitsu Agatsuma is one of the main protagonists of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and along with Inosuke Hashibira, a travelling companion of Tanjiro Kamado and Nezuko Kamado. He is also a Demon Slayer in the Demon Slayer Corps.

Kamado Nezuko

Although this might not be the best thing I could say about Nezuko, it is what I see her as right now. If this offended Nezuko fans, I am sorry. The resemblance between the two is evident and I cannot deny it.

The main story of the series, which is serious in nature, is about Tanjiro trying to get her sister back as human. This is why Nezuko’s role in the series is so crucial. It’s almost like when Nezuko is an anomaly among demons, the gear begins to move.

Kamado Tanjiro

It is easy to see why Tanjiro was ranked number one on this list. Tanjiro is one of the most outstanding male characters in Shounen anime. It’s almost impossible to not be impressed by his motivation, personality, belief, and it almost never gets boring to watch.

It could be one the most touching and heartbreaking moments of our lives when his adventure ends. You will see the day coming soon enough. But as long as it continues… well, you should know. Tanjiro’s genius is conclusive.

Who are the moons Among Demon Slayer Characters ?

The Twelve Kizuki, also known as the Twelve Demon Moons is an organization made up of the most powerful demons. Take note, in existence. All of them are under the control of Muzan Kibutsuji (the Demon King in Demon Slayer): Kimetsu No Yaiba.

To increase their strength and ability, all of them were given a large amount of Muzan’s blood. Each group consists of six members and is divided into Upper Ranks or Lower Ranks. Based on their strength, the members are numbered one through six. The rank system is as follows: Upper Rank 1 represents the strongest, and Lower Rank 6 the weakest. The Lower Ranks have their rank engraved in one eye while the Upper Ranks have it in the other. The number is then displayed in the remaining eye.

Kyogai

Lower Rank 6

People who have seen the anime will recognize Kyogai, as he is the Drum Demon. He was seen in the Tsuzumi Mansion Ark. He has 6 Tsuzumi Drums in his body. This is his blood demon art. Each drum has a different effect on the surrounding area, but it is only limited to the mansion’s interior. For example, the drum in his right shoulder can turn the room into the right. He can also do Rapid Drumming, which increases the speed of his drumming in order to improve his technique. Kamanue replaced him.

Rui

Lower Rank 5

Rui is the main antagonist of Natagumo Mountain Arc. He is a strong, powerful man who can cohere and conquer demons on the mountain because he has a lot of Muzan’s blood. He also has increased strength and endurance. Rui, like the Demon King can give spider-related abilities to another demon and strengthen them with his blood. Rui can also change a demon’s appearance.

He uses threads to defend and attack, which is his main combat. He can increase the strength and durability of the threads, which can even break Nichirin Blades.

Mukago

Lower Rank 4

There isn’t much information on Mukago, except that she was a Lower Rank Demon. Muzan called her and the other Lower Ranks during the Rehabilitation Arc. After denying Muzan’s words, she was ultimately killed.

Wakuraba

Lower Rank 3

Wakuraba was not given much screen time but some of his abilities were shown during the Rehabilitation Arc. Although he can regenerate, it was not enough to restore his body after Muzan had decapitated it. He has an enhanced speed and he demonstrated this when he tried to escape from the Infinity Castle.

Rokuro

Lower Rank 2

Rokuro’s abilities are not known, unlike Mukago. He was briefly on screen during the Rehabilitation Arc, where he tried convincing Muzan that he needed more blood to be stronger. Muzan was apparently offended by Rokuro’s “order” and decided to kill Rokuro.

Enmu

Lower Rank 1

Enmu will be familiar to anyone who has seen the Mugen Train movie. Enmu first appeared during the Rehabilitation Arc along with other Lower Rank demons, and then he returned during the Mugen Train Arc. He has increased speed and reflexes, just like the 12 other Kizuki.

Also, He has the supernatural ability to manipulate flesh, allowing him to fuse large and inanimate objects such as the train. He can also create flesh détachments, which allow his other body parts and organs to be separated from the main body. He can manipulate and control dreams through his blood demon art, which allows him to enter, manipulate, or control them. By destroying the Spiritual Core, he can kill his victims. He can also make people sleep either directly or in an indirect way.

Kaigaku

Upper Rank 6

Kaigaku, who has replaced Gyutaro and Daki as the former Upper Rank 6, is known as Kaigaku. He was actually a former demon-slayer and a senior Zenitsu disciple. 

His speed and reflexes are exceptional because he is a former demon-slayer. He is an electrokinesis blood demon, which allows him manipulate electricity and lightning. His swordsmanship level, a former Thunder Breathing user is Hashira-level.

Gyokko

Upper Rank 5

Gyokko will be appearing during the Swordsmith Village Arc. He has the ability to regenerate, which he was able to do even after receiving more blood from Muzan. He can quickly reattach his severed head and heal any injuries.

His blood demon art, his magical pots, allows him to perform the following: aqua creature manipulation (in that he can summon fishlike demons), cell manipultation (in the which he is able to manipulate the cells of people he has trapped in the pots), water manipulations (in the which he creates and manipulates water from the pots), and Teleportation (in the which he is able to teleport between pots). He can also molt to alter his appearance and increase his strength.

Nakime

Upper Rank 4

Originally she was the Biwa Demon responsible for summoning demons into the Infinity Castle. However, after Hantengu’s passing, she rose to Upper Rank 4. To spy on people at a distance, she can disassemble and create multiple eyeballs from herself. She can find everyone in the castle.

Castle manipulation is her blood demon art. This allows her to build and manipulate an Infinite Castle using her Biwa. In addition, She is able to create and shape rooms for offensive purposes. She can also use it to ram enemies to their deaths.

Finally, She can manipulate the space to teleport people who are in the castle to other places.

Akaza

Upper Rank 3

Akaza was seen during the Mugen Train Arc, where he defeated Rengoku the Flame Hashira. As seen during their fight, he has incredible strength, speed and durability. His tactical intelligence is superior to lower-ranking demons which gives him an advantage in battle. He is able to regenerate and has improved senses.

His blood demon art, which is a form of destructive death, takes the form martial arts. His moves were combined with blasts and attacks to strike his opponents. He is formidable due to his blood demon arts and superhuman strength.

Doma

Upper Rank 2

Doma, like all the Upper-Rank demons has incredible strength, speed and reflexes. He is also extremely strong and has an incredible endurance. He also has a keen and tactical mind.

Doma’s blood-demon art of cryokinesis allows him to make ice and frost out of his blood and flesh. He can also inhale demonic powdered-ice ice that is lethal for those who are willing to take it. In addition, He channels his cryokinesis through war fans to increase his capabilities. He can also freeze objects and people at will. The Bodhisattva statue, which has deadly ice powder and freezing attacks, is his final technique.

Kokushibo

Upper Rank 1

He is Yoriichi Tsugikuni’s twin and a former demon slayer. Kokushibo is a Upper Rank 1 demon. His strength and power surpass all 12 Demon Moons members. He is able to perform better than average in physical and mental abilities as well as possess supernatural abilities that are above-average.

Crescent Moon Blades was his blood demon art and complemented Moon Breathing, his combat style. This ability allows him to manipulate and create sharp blades with his katana, which can change in speed and length.

Who are Tsuguko Among Demon Slayer Characters ?

A Tsuguko is an exceptionally talented combatant of the Demon Slayer Corps who is designated as the apprentice and eventual successor of one of the Hashira.

A Demon Slayer can apply to be a Tsuguko or can be scouted and accepted by one of the current Hashira. Although it is not a requirement, a Tsuguko usually uses the same Breathing style as their Hashira.

The Tsuguko’s purpose is to replace the Hashira when they are unable to fulfill their role as champions of Demon Slayer Corps.

Zenitsu Agatsuma

Thunder Tsuguko

Personally, I don’t like annoying and loud characters in anime. They are often deafening. Zenitsu is the epitome of these characteristics. He became one of the most evil characters in the series, thanks to the gear.

Zenitsu also embodies Bruce Lee’s “training one kick 10,000x” quote. He has perfected this form after practicing it so many times. We just need to wait for another opportunity for him to shine.

Kanao Tsuyuri

Insect Tsuguko

As you can see, Kanao is very popular but and her fans love her. Personally, I don’t think that she is so interesting! (Kanao fan please don’t attack me).

You know, she’ll be a more prominent role in the future. This is a common pattern in anime. It turns out that a simple character will end up being the one to solve the problem. Maybe the same thing will happen with Kanao.

Who are Hashira Demon Slayers Characters ?

Giyu Tomioka

Water Hashira

Every generation of Demon Slayers has a Water Hashira. Giyu Tomioka is the current master of Water Breathing. He is a strong, stern man who has little empathy for demonkind. His approach to defeating them is pragmatic. He doesn’t bring hatred or strong emotions into his battles.

This is shown when he shows sympathy for Nezuko as she can control her demonic impulses. He is extremely strong and has mastered his swordsmanship and Breathing Style with such precision that it allowed him to create a new technique within this style. He is acutely aware of his limitations and will judge those who recklessly throw away their lives due to ego or impulse.

Giyu Tomioka may act aloof but he is deeply concerned about his friends, and those he has in charge. Unfortunately, people don’t like him because of his antisocial personality, and his unwavering, pragmatic sense of justice. Giyu Tomioka, a useful ally in battle, is skilled at tacit communication, understanding, and in the thicket of a fight.

Kyojuro Rengoku

Flame Hashira

Kyojuro Rengoku is now dead but he was the Flame Hashira. After his father, he took over the torch. Kyojuro Rengoku is cheerful, optimistic, excited, and loud. He believed that the strong had a responsibility to protect the weak at all costs. Also, He was honorable and passionate with a strong love for all people. He was devoted to their lives and put their safety first.

His talents were developed through discipline and hard work, rather than natural talent. Kyojuro Rengoku, unlike his father, believed that anyone could reach their dreams if they put in the effort. Kyojuro Rengoku was living proof that this was possible. With his Extrasensory Perception and Flame Breathing, he defeated the Akaza Upper Rank Three demon . Even though he used Total Concentration Breathing, which allows Demon Slayers heal their wounds and gain energy, Kyojuro Rengoku was unable to stop Akaza’s Blood Demon Art. He died protecting Tanjiro and Zenitsu Agatsuma and Inosuke Hashibara.

Tengen Uzui

Sound Hashira

The current Sound Hashira is the eccentric and charismatic Tengen Uzui. The Breathing Technique grants him advanced hearing abilities and echolocation. He is muscular and large, but his fighting style relies on flashiness and aesthetics. He is the fastest Hashira and second in strength. Tengen Uzui is, therefore, quite proud. Tengen Uzui is a demanding, proud, self-centered, and boastful man. He is a loving husband and father, who has a great love for his three wives and the other Hashira.

Tengen Uzui was raised as a shinobi and his techniques reflect decades of practice to hide and endure unbearable pain. Uzui Tengen, in his later years, rejected all aspects of the shinobi lifestyle as it devalued warriors’ subordinates to dangerous levels. 

Finally, Tengen Uzui doesn’t consider any human life to be worthless. Their survival is always more important than the mission.

Shinobu Kocho

Insect Hashira

The Insect hashira Shinobu Koto’s exterior is just a façade. She is calm and easy-going, with a friendly disposition. Behind her smiling face is a dark and mean soul. This can be seen when she teases Hashira about past playful ribbing or when she kills demonics. Although she claims she wants to be able to get along with the demons she is actually quite cruel, using mind games and physical torture to defeat them in battle. She is driven by the desire to revenge her sister who was murdered by demons.

Shinobu Kocho is not as strong in physical skills as her fellow Hashira. This is compensated for by her creativity, cunning, agility, and intelligence. Instead of a traditional Nichirin sword she uses a modified Katana to act as a stinger and inject lethal Wisteria poison in demons. Shinobu Kocho uses Insect Breathing to speed up her attacks and increase her defense. Despite being an excellent fighter, she feels like she’s still inferior to her peers.

Muichiro Tokito

Mist Hashira

Muichiro Tokito can be forgetful and airheaded. While some of his memory loss may be due to him being forgetful, his personality is typical of a Mist Hashira. Also, He is naturally hazy and is prone to wandering a lot. He is guided by logic and not emotions. 

He appears indifferent to others to the point that he is almost passive, except for when he gets into an outlandish rage, which is rare but quite distressing. It is important to remember that MuichiroTokito is not apathetic and is just as dedicated to his demon-slaying duties as the rest.

Muichiro Tokito, a child prodigy, climbed to the Hashira rank within two months. He is also the most skilled Mist Breathing user of his generation. Demon Slayer victories were made possible by his indomitable willpower and simmering anger. He also has immense strength and stamina.

Obanai Ichuro

Serpent Hashira

The partially blind Serpent Hashira Obanai Iguro has a history of being petty, merciless and deeply troubled. His clan cut his lips to make his mouth look more like a snake’s when he was 12 years old. He keeps the wounds under the bandages covering his face. This could be a contributing factor to his animosity.

In addition,  He is uncompromising and strict even towards his fellow Hashira. He bullies them for their errors as well as mocking injuries they have sustained against “weak demons”. He holds these standards high.

Obanai is a skilled swordsman. He was asked to teach the techniques of sword-wielding to lower ranks within the organization. He also invented Serpent Breathing. This style uses twists and turns that are similar to a serpent’s attack. It can also be used with ObanaiIguro’s pet snake to increase effectiveness.

Mitsuri Kanroji

Love Hashira / Formerly Flame Tsuguko

Mitsuri Kanroji, the Love Hashira. She is protective, emotional, and loving. She is shy and easy to fluster so she often compliments people in her head rather than aloud. Demons are not the target of her gentleness. Mitsuri Kanroji is just as committed to killing all demons as she is to finding her husband. These are her main goals in life.

Mitsuri Kanroji, despite her small stature, has eight times the muscle density of an average human. She is also flexible and more agile than any other Hashira. These strengths offset her slowest running speed. Love Breathing, her new technique, is also her invention. Love Breathing is a resemblance to Flame Breathing and is enhanced with Mitsuri Kanroji’s whip-like Nichiren Sword.

Sanemi Shinazugawa

Wind Hashira

Sanemi Shinazugawa can be abrasive and impulsive. The Wind Hashira is able to find every reason to be mad at someone else. His body is covered in battle scars and he has the most bloodlust of all the Hashira. He is intolerant of demons. He seems to have no tolerance for demons.

Like the rest of the Hashira, the Wind Hashira excels in combat. Due to the number of injuries he has sustained over the years, he is more resilient to pain than others. His Wind Breathing technique is a well-known and consistent style in the Demon Slayer Corps. Sanemi Shinazugawa is the master of it, surpassing all other wielders.

Gyomei Himejima

Stone Hashira

Stone Hashira Gyomei Himejima is the gentle giant of the group. He has a large body and a big heart. He is sensitive and can be seen crying almost every day.

Also, He is soft-spoken and always carries his prayer beads with him. 

In addition He feels disgust when he hurts one of the living creatures because of his religious upbringing. He hates suffering so much that he will sacrifice his dislike for inflicting pain to save humanity.

Gyomei Himejima, in physical strength, is the strongest Hashira. He is a heavy-wielding iron weapon expert. Gyomei Himejima was able to attain his rank in just two months, much like the Serpent Hashira. Because he has no sight, his hearing is improved. Repetitive Action allows him to focus more effectively. His persistence is also notable. He can stay focused even when he’s near death and still regain enough stamina for victory.

Who are the Ancient Hashira Among Demon Slayer Characters

Urokodaki Sakonji

Another wonderful teacher and loving figure who trained Tanjiro to be a demon slayer. Although his teaching style is very strict and unforgiving, we can see that the training was a huge success.

We can speculate that Urokodaki is a skilled swordsman, as the ex Hashira suggests. It is not yet clear if he will use it. Urokodaki is an old man, and I don’t want to see shonen anime continue to kill old men. Let the youngster take charge of the fight.

Kuwajima Jigorou

Jigorou treats Zenitsu, who can sometimes be annoying and loud, with love and passion. He patiently helps him become a better Demon Slayer. I could see how difficult Zenitsu is if I was in his shoes. Jigorou needs more appreciation.

Who are the leaders Among Demon Slayer Characters ?

Demon Slayer Corp

Ubuyashiki Kagaya

Another character I have mentioned. Kagaya is the leader of Demon Slayer Corps. He is unable to fight so he is not a strong character. However, all the Demon Slayer Corps listens to him.

Kagaya is a charismatic leader who loves to love his subordinates. We can also assume that he’s a great tactician. These qualities are what make the Hashira so willing to follow them.

Kizuki Team

Kibutsuji Muzan

We can see that Muzan is a dark and sinister being, who shows no compassion for the demons he created. He is only concerned about his own goals (I can’t tell you now due to spoilers).

It would be great to see Tanjiro lose to his main character in the final fight. It is obvious that Muzan will be our last boss. He is the one who created these demons.

He is undeniably the most dangerous threat among all the demon slayer characters

Who is The Strongest Among Demon Slayer Characters ?

Yoriichi Demon Slayer

Like his twin brother, Yoriichi is a tall and muscular man with long and spiky hair with red tips that he kept in a ponytail. However, unlike him he was slightly more slender and had shorter bangs and wavier hair than his brother.

His Demon Slayer Mark was at the same place at the top of his forehead as Tanjiro, albeit lighter in color. Yoriichi is always seen with a solemn and calm look on his face, rarely showing emotion.

Other Demon Slayer Characters ( Honorable Mentions )

Sabito – The Most Loved Among Demon Slayer Characters

Like Jigorou’s character, Sabito has a brief but memorable screen time. He taught Tanjiro so many things back then, I can recall that.

It is difficult to imagine Sabito appearing again in the near future. Although he could have made an appearance in flashbacks, I believe that is all. After all, he has already died. He is still remembered by some Demon Slayer fans as one of their best characters.

Yushiro

It is not clear why, but Demon Slayer makes the worst impressions of a character. This is a good thing, because we will eventually get to see their other side once they are introduced. Some fans won’t wait and will view them as a bad character.

Yushiro almost fooled me. Insulting Nezuko was already a negative. Yushiro can also be a powerful demon by himself. Because I thought he would be an annoying and weak side character. Although he is still annoying, he is quite acceptable.

Tamayo

Tamayo, unlike Yushiro her disciple, is a different type of demon. She is graceful and has mannerisms. Although Yushiro may not be the best, he should learn more about these things from his master. It does matter.

We haven’t seen much information about Tamayo in the series. We don’t know much about her past, but we can assume she is a demon. If Nezuko is blessed with one, it is certain that she will too.

Gyutaro And Daki

Upper Moon 6

Daki and Gyutarou were the first to be awarded the rank of Upper Moon 6. Kaigaku became the new Upper Moon 6.

Former Upper moon 6

The demons of sibling sharing one body were the demons that shared it. However, Gyutarou was able to help Daki and Daki with their own talents.

Daki, a beautiful demi-mon, ran a brothel. Muzan can be seen admiring Daki’s newfound strength. She is very ruthless and has a history eating 7 Hashira. She is able to read the power levels of her opponents and has sharpened senses. Daki likes to use sharp blade-like weapons she can manipulate her flesh with. Also, Daki can use her hair to attack certain targets. 

Finally, Daki can also use her flesh manipulation skills for cutting and storing food as well as to defend herself.

By merging with Gyutarou, Gyutarou can make Gyutarou’s sister even more beautiful. To combat, he manipulates his flesh to make two sharp sickles. His senses are sufficient to keep up with his opponent’s fast attacks. Gyutarou uses lumps of human blood to fight his enemies. His blood is also used to make lethal poisons.

Gyutarou, Daki and other Gyutarou have a unique ability that makes it difficult for them to be decapitated. They can only be killed if their heads were also cut off.
