Dhalis Zachary Aot is a Canadian-born, Swiss-based journalist and author who has written extensively on the Middle East and North Africa. He is the founder of the online news outlet Middle East Eye, which was founded in 2006. Aot has also been a contributing writer for The Observer, The Guardian, and other publications.
