Arc OF THE 104TH TRAINING BRIGADE
In Aot There isn’t much information about the background of Daz, other than Daz did not hesitate to sign up for the army. He was defeated after fighting Titans at first during the battle of Trost District. Daz was part of the 104th Training Brigade.He was in attendance during the battle that took place between Mikasa Ackerman and Annie Leonhart and was unsure of who would take the fight. He was a part of training in the mountains.
He took part in a fitness exercise in the mountain. He was injured in an accident. the injured man was barely breathing. Christa declared that she wanted help her and ymir as well as Daz. To accomplish this, they must find a cabin near the lowest point of the hill. Ymir took the decision to put Daz on his own and directed Christa to proceed.
They saw each other in the cabin later. In the arc of reconquest in the Trost district, during the initial battle Daz was witness to at least one of his companions being devoured before him , and he was the victim of martyrdom. Afraid of such horrific events and apprehensive about the consequences, Daz was determined not to return to fight the titans and face such a devastating end. He contemplated suicide several times to avoid this, the mistake Marco Bott prevented him from taking.
Afterward, when captain Kitz Wehrman said to him that he was deserving of being murdered, Daz drew his blade and stated that he’d prefer to die this way rather than being eaten by an enormous beast. When he heard that a way was discovered to stop the wall from being built, Daz believed that it was a ploy of the government authorities in order to force their soldiers back into combat. He was therefore one of the deserters prior to the battle to retake Trost. After finally joining in the Exploration Battalion following the Battle of Shiganshina, Daz took part in the following battle which was in the Battle of Revelio. Daz survived the battle and was able to join in the brigade’s Airship. Then he celebrated his victory along with the other soldiers up until Gaby Braun got on the Airship with a gun. She fired on Sasha Braus, mortally wounding her. After Gaby became disarmed Daz along with his brothers in arms reacted to revenge them by beating their sister.

After the dispersal of titans’ armies and the capture over of the Port by pro-Jagers, Daz and Samuel Link-Jackson stumbled upon themselves in charge of the detonator that was linked to explosives that were placed on Azumabito clan’s aircraft. He initially was willing to defuse the device before Conny Springer and Armin Arlelt who believed in their innocence. However, they determined to trigger it again after he heard the blasts and Frock Vorster’s shouts. He was nearly detained by Armin however Samuel was able to defend himself by firing three rounds at Armin. Despite his state, Armin tried to prevent him from arming his explosive. Samuel as well as Samuel were killed by Conny trying to stop them from doing so and to protect Armin.
