Ragnarok season 2 is set to follow the story of the gods and their battle against the dragon-like creature, The Elder God, Odin. The show has been highly anticipated by fans since its release in 2018, and it looks like they won’t be disappointed. The release of Ragnarok season 2 comes after a long and successful year for the anime series. With such a popular series coming out in 2019, it’s sure to be an exciting year for anime fans everywhere!
This fantasy-action series takes an extremely high-concept premise, and transforms it into a traditional martial arts tournament. The gods of the “Record of Ragnarok” world meet every 1,000 years to decide the fate of humanity. This time, however, they declare that humanity is not redeemable and must be destroyed.
The gods grant humanity one more chance after a plea from Valkyrie Brunhilde. If 13 prominent figures from human history are able to defeat 13 of the most powerful gods of the universe in battle, they will be allowed to live. The humans get to use a Valkyrie, which can transform into a very useful weapon, to even out the odds.

What is the Plot of Ragnarok Season 2 ?
“Record of Ragnarok” was the first season. We saw incredible fights between 13 historical humans and the gods listed below to determine the fate of humanity.
Things didn’t look so good for people until Kojiro Sski steps in at round three.
Thor defeated Lu Bu, a warlord and military general, in the first round.
Adam was defeated by Zeus, the king among gods, in the second round.
After defeating Poseidon, the god of the ocean, Kojiro Saski, the Japanese swordsman, humanity was able to see a glimmer for hope in the third round.
The fourth round of battle will be the opening round of the second season. This round will see the god Hercules face off with Jack the Ripper, one of the most notorious serial killers in human history.
In the fifth round, Japanese sumo wrestler Raiden Takemon and Shiva (the third god of the Hindu Triumvirate) will face off in a bloody battle. In round 6, Buddha and God Of Misfortune Zerofuku follow.
The second season will continue to follow the manga’s story closely.
Masao Okubo, director of Anitrendz, stated that he makes sure the anime doesn’t diverge from the original manga in an interview.
The director stated, “I had always had those who have never read the manga in me when I composed the anime.”
“I made sure that anime did not diverge from the original manga. Also, I made sure to only include the things I was most excited about while reading the manga, and I left the rest. “I was conscious that the anime should be as similar to the manga as possible.”
Director added that original authors should review the plot, storyboard, character settings, and other details. They also allow them to make minor changes to the script, including the dialogues, in order to adapt to the episodic format.
He said, “I was able do pretty much everything I wanted because the authors understood that manga and anime have different ways to express the same scenes.”
“The original manga is too long (literally, lines not text and character dialogues), so it was impossible to create animations that were identical. Although I tried to reduce the lines as much as possible, I received complaints from staff members later. I learned my lesson.
