HISTORY GYOMEI HIMEJIMA DEMON SLAYER
Before Gomei became an demon slayer and rock pillar and pillar of stone, he lived alongside nine orphaned children and raised them within his temple. The region they resided in was known for its frequent attacks by demons which is why when it was time to go to bed, Gomei often lit candles with wiseria to deter any demons that could cause harm to him or his children.One day , one child broke one of the laws in the temple and fled it in the night, resulting in a confrontation with an evil spirit. To save his existence, the kid instructed the demon to devour the other children including Goemei. At night the child took out all incense and allowed the demon go into the temple.Four children were killed instantly, while the rest left the temple, disregarding Goemei’s requests to stay. His small stature and lack of vision caused the doubt that the children had in Goemei’s abilities to guard them, causing them to leave him , and ultimately be killed by the demon in the end. At the end, only Sayo the smallest of the children was able to listen to Goemei and then hid behind him.
It is not known what happened, Gomei received a cut on his forehead by the claws of the demon. The demon quickly reversed his course and began to brutally attack the demon. Upon realizing that the demon had an “frightening amount of hidden power,” He continued to batter him until sun went up and the demon was killed.Afterward, many people rushed to to assist But Sayo who was shocked and terrified, revealed false details, stating: “This man is a monster. He killed them. He killed everyone.”Gyomei was later imprisoned after murdering seven children, however Kagaya Ubuyashiki interceded then Gyomei was released prior to when his execution for false allegations. Then Gyomei was a demon slayer and was later turned into a stone pillar.
