In an interview with Japanese magazine Shonen Jump, Suga said that he is “not sure” when the hiatus will be over and that he does not want to give any specific date. He also said that he is currently working on a new Hunter x Hunter manga series and does not have plans to resume the manga series until after that. Suga’s hiatus comes as a surprise because it has been announced in recent months that he will be taking a break from the manga series after his son was born. In an interview with Japanese website J-List, Suga said that he is “happy” with his son and does not want him to take up too much of his time. However, it seems as though there may be some unfinished business between him and his fans after 4 years of hiatus.
