Nagito Komaeda is also among the smartest characters in the second game. He is clever and smart. He usually solves cases earlier than the other characters however, he does not want to be credited for it. He usually acts in a state of ignorance during trials, and manipulates conversations by offering (often in a way that isn’t noticed) hinting, then praises others as that they’ve came up with the solution. The chapter 3 was where he ensured that Hajime is able to show his innocence and does not become suspect. Nagito claims that he trusted Hajime to help him wake up and later , he holds Hajime’s hand when the class moves on in a direction of the hope of the future. This is a reference to Side: Hope and also suggests that he believes in Hajime his only hope.
After the conclusion of Danganronpa 3, after helping Makoto and other characters, Nagito and his classmates decide to return and reside on Jabberwock island. As everyone else on board is eating on the deck, Nagito shouts his friend Hajime that food is getting scarce and urges him to hurry up. After three years, they’ve become friends , and Nagito talks to Hajime about how luck has impacted his life. When they celebrate their final Christmas at school Nagito and Hajime chat on their own as the rest of the students are having a party.

That’s the reason she was moved into the Reserve Course and Nagito wasn’t removed from the class. When other students are clear that they do not like or dislike Nagito, Chisa tries to claim that he’s their classmate and that he was responsible for the right thing for them.
Chiaki Nanami
Chiaki was Nagito’s friend prior to the tragedy. Chiaki was also his class’s representative. Nagito was awed by her, believing that she was the class’s future. Chiaki seemed to truly care about him even though she was not a fan of his approach to things. Chiaki was the sole one among her classmates who greets Nagito with a warm welcome when he arrived back from suspension for a period of about an entire year.
Then, Nagito inadvertently puts Chiaki’s life at risk by showing her the secret entryway to an underground room in which Junko, Izuru, and Ryota Mitarai were hiding. As the time for graduation draws nearer, Chiaki shows consideration towards Nagito as she spots Nagito alone in the corner. She then goes to ask him if he’s had enjoyable. Nagito says that, of course it’s fun, and then speaks about the hopes of everyone as Chiaki telling him that’s okay, however her expression is somewhat sad and dissatisfied evidently because he’s talking in that way. Chiaki admits that she isn’t sure how to know him after all these years of their relationship however, she claims that she understands that the importance of hope for him. Nagito informs Chiaki that everybody wants to believe but not only his, but he is more focused on it than the rest of us. However, he does later appear to be genuinely impressed by her ability to discern. In the Funhouse the group, he requests her to look into the matter with him. He is concerned when she walks out of the room with no one noticing.
Although Nagito is unaware, Chiaki cared about him and she was the one he attempted to save at the end, even though it was unsuccessful.
Ultimate Imposter
Nagito was a fan of Ultimate Imposter and their leadership capabilities when they attempted to impersonate Byakuya Togami. But, due to this, he decided to involve Ultimate Imposter in his scheme. The original plan was to cause Nagito’s death, however, the Ultimate Imposter died instead, making Nagito’s death averted. Although Nagito was not feeling remorseful for what transpired but he was extremely satisfied and claimed that he started to develop a tiny determination to live despite the actions of the Imposter.
Mikan Tsumiki

He also states that he’ll be keeping an eye on Teruteru for this reason.
In the opening section, Nagito used his time in the Hotel’s Old Building to set up the murder scene for Teruteru. In the trial that followed, Nagito helped Teruteru, initially believing that he would be the best hope between opposing sides. But when this proved out to be untrue Nagito walked away from Teruteru and advised him to surrender.
The story of Danganronpa 3, during their period on Hope’s Peak, Teruteru is found to be extremely thankful when Nagito presents him with an issue of a magazine featuring Sayaka Maizono as the cover. Even so, it’s revealed that Teruteru doesn’t miss him even when he’s gone, as all the others. In a way, Nagito is the most sensible of the brainwashed, because he’s more conscious of what’s happening and also has the same hatred for Junko.
Monaca Towa
When Nagito was taken prisoner from his fellow Warriors of Hope and became their Servant, Monaca seemed to be the only one to be aware of the true identity of Nagito. The Servant was planning to leave and Monaca allowed him to go think that they’d never meet for the rest of their lives. But, when Monaca was trapped in the rubble, he reappeared and helped her out because He was unhappy by the outcome of the incident and the result that was neutral. He told her that she was Junko’s successor, and that he could help her become closer to her than her own. Monaca was able to support this, but the Servant’s endless ranting about despair and hope caused Monaca frustrated and felt ashamed of the whole experience. Monaca claims that the Servant made her into an adult that she matured in the sense of mental growth becoming more skeptical, and indifferent, and not really concerned about things.
In the final phase, Monaca found Nagito creepy and irritating, however she did appear to become closer to him throughout their time together. While she initially called him simply “Mister Servant”, she later refers to him as “Big Bro” in Danganronpa 3. It’s not clear what Nagito thought about her at the end.
Izuru Kamukura
